Terms of Use

CashFloor · cash-floor.com · Last updated: 9 October 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of CashFloor’s website and mobile apps (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. The Service

CashFloor is a personal cash-flow planning tool. You manually enter checking balances, income, expenses, and optional credit-card payment amounts so you can see projected balances over a horizon you choose.

CashFloor is not a bank, credit union, payment processor, money transmitter, broker, investment adviser, or fiduciary. We do not hold funds, move money, connect to your bank, underwrite credit, or guarantee that you will avoid overdrafts or other financial harm.

2. Your responsibilities

3. Not financial, legal, or tax advice

Projections, low points, alerts, story callouts, and in-app messages are estimates based solely on numbers and schedules you enter. They can be wrong if data is incomplete or outdated. Nothing in the Service is financial, legal, or tax advice. You remain solely responsible for real-world decisions.

4. Accounts and household sharing

You may close your account in the app (Settings → Close account) or request deletion at cash-floor.com/delete-account.html. Household membership changes (invite, join, leave, remove) are handled through the Service. The household owner is responsible for who they invite.

5. Acceptable use

Do not abuse the Service (including attempts to bypass security, scrape, disrupt, or use another person’s account without permission). We may suspend or terminate access for violations or to protect the Service and its users.

6. Intellectual property

CashFloor’s name, logos, software, and content (excluding your plan data) are owned by us or our licensors. You keep ownership of the plan data you enter.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that projections will be accurate or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CASHFLOOR AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR OVERDRAFT / BANK FEES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR RELIANCE ON PROJECTIONS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (IF ANY) OR (B) CAD $50.

9. Privacy

How we collect and use personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
