Privacy Policy

CashFloor · cash-floor.com · Last updated: 9 October 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how CashFloor (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and mobile apps (the “Service”).

1. Who we are

CashFloor is a personal cash-flow planning tool. You enter checking balances, income, expenses, and optional credit-card payments so you can see whether checking stays above your floor. We do not connect to banks or import transactions automatically. We never ask for card numbers or bank logins.

For a postal mailing address for privacy correspondence, email us and we will provide it promptly.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the Service, we may process:

3. Consent

Before we store plan/financial data you enter, we ask for your express consent (checkbox at signup, or a one-time in-app confirmation). You may withdraw consent by closing your account or contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing already completed lawfully.

4. How we use information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your plan data for advertising.

5. Sharing

We share data only as needed to run the Service:

We do not share your balances or bills with banks or financial institutions for underwriting or advertising.

6. Retention

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures (including HTTPS and managed authentication). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Not a bank or financial advice

CashFloor is a personal planning tool only. It is not a bank, credit union, payment processor, money transmitter, broker, investment adviser, or fiduciary. We do not hold funds, move money, underwrite credit, or guarantee that you will avoid overdrafts or other financial harm.

Projections, low points, alerts, and in-app messages are estimates based solely on numbers and schedules you enter. They can be wrong if balances, dates, or bills are incomplete or outdated. Nothing in the Service is financial, legal, or tax advice. You remain solely responsible for real-world bank decisions and for verifying figures with your own institutions.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Your choices and rights

11. International processing

Your data is processed in the United States by our infrastructure providers (notably Google Firebase in us-central1 and Resend for email). If you use the Service from Canada (including Quebec), you understand that your information is transferred to and processed in the United States under those providers’ safeguards.

12. Breach notification

If a breach of security safeguards creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as required by law, and keep an internal record of breaches.

13. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. If changes are material to how we use plan data, we may ask for consent again in the app.
